Replace-all on free text is dangerous: you can hit substrings inside SKUs or domains. Prefer literal modes, work on filtered subsets, and keep multi-step undo available.

Checklist

  • Filter to the rows that should change, then replace.
  • Spot-check three random matches before accepting global replace.
  • Export a backup copy before aggressive cleanup.
