Ambiguous dates like 01/02/2025 confuse US vs EU readers. Machine pipelines prefer 2025-01-02T15:30:00Z style timestamps with explicit offsets.

Policy

  • Store UTC in warehouses; convert to local only in presentation.
  • Never mix fractional seconds inconsistently across files.
