Column and row menus: insert, delete, copy, paste, and clear

Context actions for columns and rows, bulk selection, and how clipboard workflows compare to desktop spreadsheets.

Gepubliceerd op 20 maart 2025 · Table

Tabular cleanup is not only cell typing. This viewer exposes column and row menus for insert, rename, cut, paste, delete, and clear patterns you would expect in a light spreadsheet. Selection across rows pairs with bulk copy, cut, delete, or clear when you need to fix a whole cohort.

Clipboard reality

  • Pasting from Excel or Sheets usually arrives as tab-separated values. The grid maps tabs into adjacent cells and can grow the table when the paste is larger than the selection.
  • Huge clipboard payloads can hit browser limits. Chunk pastes when the OS stalls.
  • After aggressive bulk edits, scroll the head and tail of the file to confirm shape before export.
